Terms of Service
Last updated: July 23, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use the Saigon Learning Center tutoring platform. Saigon Learning Center is an online tutoring business registered in Texas, providing tutoring to K–12 students throughout the United States. By creating an account or booking sessions, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms are a draft and are pending review by an attorney. We will update this page if anything changes.
What we provide
We provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions, held via Google Meet, along with a platform for scheduling, homework, progress tracking, payments, and AI-assisted study tools.
Accounts
- Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian, who manages one or more student profiles for their children.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- The information you provide about yourself and your students must be accurate.
- Parents can see only their own children's data; access to information on the platform is controlled by role.
Session credits and payments
- Tutoring is paid for with session credits. Credits can be purchased through payment packages on the platform, or added to your account when we record a manual payment (Zelle, cash, or check) made directly to the center.
- Credits currently do not expire. If that ever changes, we will tell you in advance.
- One credit is deducted for each completed session.
- Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
Sessions are scheduled through the platform. If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, contact the center and we will work with you and the tutor to find a new time. Please give us as much notice as you can — it helps us keep tutors' schedules fair for every family.
Tutors
Every tutor on our platform is screened and approved by our team before they teach their first session. Tutors are expected to conduct sessions professionally and to keep all communication with students on-platform and session-related.
AI features
The platform includes AI-powered features such as homework generation, a study assistant, and session summaries. These are educational support tools. They can make mistakes, produce incomplete or incorrect answers, and should not be treated as a replacement for a tutor or teacher. Please review AI-generated content before relying on it.
Acceptable use
- Use the platform only for its intended purpose: tutoring and learning.
- Do not share your account or attempt to access other families' data.
- Do not harass, abuse, or behave inappropriately toward tutors, students, or staff.
- Do not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the platform.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. If we do, unused purchased credits will be handled under our Refund Policy.
Disclaimers
We work hard to provide excellent tutoring, but we cannot guarantee specific academic results, grades, or test scores. The platform is provided on an "as is" basis and may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.
Limitation of liability
This section is pending legal review.
Our intent is that the center's liability to you will be limited to the amount you paid for the services at issue. The final wording of this section will be added after our attorney reviews it.
Dispute resolution and governing law
This section is pending legal review.
Our intent is that these Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and that we will always try to resolve any disagreement with you directly and informally first. The final wording of this section will be added after our attorney reviews it.
Changes to these Terms
If we make meaningful changes to these Terms, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify parents through the platform. Continuing to use the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
