Most of our students are children, and their safety comes before everything else we do. This page explains the safeguards built into how Saigon Learning Center operates.
Parents control the account
- Students do not create their own accounts.
- A parent or guardian creates the account, manages each child's student profile, and decides what information is stored about their child.
- Scheduling, payments, and communication with the center all run through the parent account.
Tutors are screened and approved
Every tutor is screened and approved by our team before they teach their first session. No one can teach on our platform without being personally reviewed and approved by the center's founder. Tutors are expected to keep all communication with students session-related and professional.
Sessions are visible to parents
- All tutoring is 1-on-1 and held online via Google Meet.
- Every session is recorded in the platform — date, time, tutor, attendance, and session notes — and parents can see this record for their own children at any time in the parent dashboard.
- Parents are welcome to sit in on their child's online sessions whenever they wish.
Data privacy for minors
Student data is stored securely with role-based access: parents can see only their own children's data, and tutors can see only the students they teach. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
Reporting a concern
If anything about a session, a tutor, or the platform ever concerns you — anything at all — report it to us through your parent dashboard. Concerns about child safety are reviewed by the center's leadership directly and taken seriously. If a report involves possible harm to a child, we will act immediately, which can include suspending a tutor while we review, and cooperating with authorities where appropriate.
